John Delgado, Jr. was born in Harbor City and has been a resident of San Pedro all his life. He is a happily married husband and he and his wife, Gina, have four children:  Angelina, John, Paul and Joseph.  Gina is an Educator, Angelina and John graduated in May 2011 from college, and Paul and Joseph are currently in grade school. John has also made a career in the International Transportation and Warehouse industry for the last 20 years and his company has complied with the New Truck Program which has played a key role in cleaning up the environment.
